As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Avior has re-affirmed its support for the Kaibigan Ermita Outreach Foundation. This NGO has over the twenty eight years of its existence proven its approach in providing education to children in Manila's poorest neighbourhoods and empowering local communities to take responsibility in changing things for the better around those children.

For this reason Avior has decided to set aside part of their fees to donate to Kaibigan. For this purpose Avior was visited by a Kaibigan delegation consisting of Susan Biteng (Director), Flor Balanza (Financial Manager) and board Members Eloisa & Robert Salomon.

After a short ceremony Avior President Edna Ranara handed over the donation for 2014 to Kaibigan Director Susan Biteng stating "a year ago all our efforts were focussed on helping out Avior Seafarer families affected by Supertyphoon Yolanda but we have moved on since then and now time has come to redirect our attention to those less priviliged and a ccause we believe in. We hope our business will expand so our donation to Kaibigan will increase as well". 

On behalf of Kaibigan Ms Susan Biteng thanked Avior for the trust and support received not only from Avior but also some of its Principals in the past.
